Brian did not stumble into radon mitigation. After a close family member was diagnosed with lung cancer — never having smoked — he started digging into environmental risk factors and could not ignore what he found about radon.
He spent years getting certified and learning the trade properly before launching Local Radon Mitigation in 2019. Today, Brian holds active NRPP/AARST credentials and is personally involved in every job the company takes on. When you call, you reach the person responsible for the work — not a scheduling desk.
I started this because I know what happens when radon gets ignored. I'm not interested in fast jobs — I'm interested in jobs that hold up.

Brian's goal for Local Radon Mitigation is to make radon testing and mitigation as routine in Wisconsin as a carbon monoxide detector — something every homeowner does as a matter of course. We are building that track record one installation at a time.
